Pat O'Day was morning man on LOF roughly from the mid Sixties to early Seventies. I consider this the station
at it's best but I know that is a matter of opinion. Like the Beatles or the Rolling Stones without a member, the radio station
would not have been the same without O'Day. Lake Eola would also never have been filled with chocolate milk one April 1st.

A good shot of Bill Vermillion, doing what he does best. Bill was at WLOF for around a decade, earlier Sixties
through 1973. From Submarine races in my high school years to his nationally influencial moves in the music industry, Bill was
another key player on the Channel 95 team. |

A young Dick Shane also was lucky enough to experience the last half of the Sixties (and more) at WLOF. It was an
experience that I wouldn't trade for any other job at that time in my life. I have wondered what aliens light years down the road think when
they tune in to the Dick Shane Show and I hope I did not give away our location. |

The Bill Taylor traveling Makenzie Medicine Show, a classic radio character. Hiya Billy Hiya Hiya. You can catch
his cameo appearance on HEEHAW in reruns. I believe Doctor Bill served a couple of stints at 95. |

This was the only picture I could find of Johnny Gee and it was taken off tv during an interview on one of the local
stations. The song brown eyed girl comes to mind... At any rate JG was the laid back powerhouse afternoon drive jock mid-early
to mid-late Sixties. He and Fifi never married. |
